REKS "MASCARA" PRODUCED BY STATIK SELEKTA

For those who don't know REKS, he is from Boston. Real name Corey Isiah Christie, he started being a B-boy a member of "Funk Town connection"  that competes all over the city of Lawrence in the state Massachusetts. He was influenced by the rap styles and delivery of 3 legendary Emcee's KRS-ONE, Slick Rick and Ice Cube, were the reasons why he grabbed his paper and pen and started writing lyrics, Mo Flow artist, was a fan of REKS. we were entertained on his own views and realization, that talks more about life. Like blayzey would always say to SP "This is Real Hiphop" and SP would always reply "Real Talk Indeed". so we would like to share you this REKS new single "Mascara" Produced by Statik Selektah. just feel the vibe.

ABRA's ABRAKADABRA IS NOW OUT!

The long wait is indeed over, the magical track a is out over the net rushing both national and international release.  A pure product of  one of the good lyricist from the finest Philippine Hip-Hop Trio, LDP (Lyrically Deranged Poet) Raymond Abracosa better known as "Abra" dropped his single in titled "Abrakadabra" and Produced by BoJam of Flip Music, this track won't make your 10-15minutes of loading things up in YouTube to waste. For solid Filipino word plays attacking your decent mind to another taste of the real skills of the magician. hoping he would make a full video with this one, maybe he could ask some help from those great magicians off the mainstream or in the underground. Go Back To The Boom Box!

Now, these  guys doesn't matter if your into Rock or Hip Hop music. The only that matters to them is they deliver instant messages to the people, who could relate in both sorts of music genres.I call them the kings, who rocks the Mic since before I was born, well if you were born during the early 90's you can hear their tracks played on air, with a very low-fidelity music, collaboration of three emcee's, live guitars, the old school half step drum patterns on a certain tempo, that sometimes you can hardly determine if it's on  jungle sample or in the old school hiphop ish, but either ways they performed and distributed distinction to their own music from others, you would also remember "I Gotta Fight for my right to party", "It's sabotage" or "Three emcees and one DJ", collaborating with the popular Dj of its time, DJ Mix Master Mic.
Are you guessing them already? Are you? Huh? Ohh yes! And you just got it right, its the all time favorite. "The Beastie Boys".
The Beastie Boys (left to right)  MCA,  Mike D, and Ad-Rock

Since their 7th release last 2007 of The Mix UP album, they were working with the Hot Sauce Committee Album. intended to be released as their 8th Album,  problem was there were unfortunate events that triggered the cancelling of that project.  Adam "MCA" Yauch was diagnosed with cancer ,  The album was previously known by the working title Tadlock's Glasses, wasn't official so it some didn't call it as the 8th but rather than an additional album or inserts they dropped "Too Many Rappers featuring Nas" that hits both local and national mainstreams in US soil. t peaked at #93 on the Billboard Hot 100 making it the Beastie Boys' first single in five years to chart on the Hot 100; the last time being "Ch-Check It Out" in 2004 that peaked at #68. "Too Many Rappers" has also been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 1 was released under the title Hot Sauce Committee Part Two with a slightly altered track listing including "Too Many Rappers". The material intended for part two may now be released as Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 1at some point in the future.

Long Walk - Way Back (31 years a book in hand)

Readers Digest, True Stories of Great Escapes

Originally from Rogelio Constantino Lim (Uncle),

given  to Rogelio Gregorio Ortiz (My father)11-20-1979

to: Roger Peter and keith Paul Ortiz (Siblings) late 90's

to Roem Ortiz (me) 2008

I. Way Back the old days

This book has 506 amazing true stories of real gate crashing ,kamikaze actions, hole digging and under-the-table-planning one of my favorite is The Longest Walk the title describes it's length of the stories cause it's also the longest story on this collections of true escapes.

It's all about of a group of men (Political Prisoners) , walking 4,000 miles (6,437km) from Siberia to India in search for freedom,
My father, his 2Nd cousin , my brothers and me, couldn't imagine on how "The long walk" would fit on a film.

II. The Long walk Journey.

And yes after 31 years of having this book on our family tree. Rj Deopita My friend lend me his USB to copy a film. later I know, The Newmarket Films, Exclusive Film Distribution and Meteor Pictures finally made a good film for it. They In titled it "The Way Back" Directed by Peter Weir. but of course as we all know. Most of the books that were made into films weren't exactly the same as the original writer who wrote it. it was cut down into some important details only. but I'm grateful that I was able to experience a wonderful story from a book to the Pinilakang tabing (Big Screen). If only Tatay was still alive he would be the very first one who would rushed out and tell me to download the film.

wise people say“Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life.”

I would give this book to my son and he would give it to his son and generation by generation we the Ortiz would learn the same reading experience from this book.
