DHUBBLY! ARTIST OF THE MONTH (JULY WEEK TWO)

Moflow artist of the month “Dhublly” for the month of July and Yes! we are indeed in our 2nd week, steady beat making and my Man Dhublly is steady kickin the questions hardly.
For the first week I would like to correct how Dhublly is supposed to be spelled it is not "DHUBBLY", "DHUBLY" nor "DUBLY" blame the corrections to Souljah P, Me! For showing up wrong details :) sorry guys but yet, to continue our discussions. lets start the interview for week 2


MOFLOW:

We have heard that they call you the Dub King of Bacolod what can you say about that?

DHUBLLY:

That is a complete fallacy! I don't consider myself as a "KING" of dub nor anything.
I'm just some dude who plays and produces music that I so passionately dig.

MOFLOW:

When you produce your beats/instrumentals, what would be your perfect environment?

DHUBLLY:

I like my studio at my place; it’s the perfect spot for me.

MOFLOW:

During those good old days how hard was it to produce?

DHUBLLY:

It's was really that hard. Back then I have no idea how and what to start with making tracks.
The beats, melodies, rhythm, it's all in my head but the problem was how to apply it.
Thanks to the Internet, I had time working on some tutorials and shit.


MOFLOW:

Can you differentiate Dub, from other types of music?

DHUBLLY:

Dub is a sub-category of reggae music, but generally dub music is all about delays,
I mean delays from the guitars up to the drums; yes you got it right even the drums.
hahaha (I prefer if you should check it out in Wikipedia.


MOFLOW:

Who were the first persons who would criticize your work before showing it up to public?

DHUBLLY:

Everybody is my critic. After I make tracks I immediately pass it around.

MOFLOW:

As you have said in Week One, Your using Fruity Loops to produce your music, have you ever tried other soft wares or applications?


DHUBLLY:

A LOT! Logic Pro, Cubase, Reason, Adobe Audition, Ableton Live, etc.


MOFLOW:

In your own words, define Music.

DHUBLY:

SOUL FOOD! “Music is the true universal language of men, a catalyst for human emotions”
